I am currently using the newbb module as my forum in the latest version of xoops. However, I have been noticing some flaws in my forum lists. Unsticky topics are in the sticky section and change around when a new topic is posted. I tried syncing the forum several times but this didnt seem to help. I also tried stickying and unstickying the topic but was futile. I'm not sure what to do and I request someone's help. Thanks alot.

Are you using the old NewBB or its replacement, CBB? In either case, which version? Also, which version of XOOPS? Latest [Stable] meaning 2.0.16?

Yes. I am using the 2.0.16 and my newbb version is 2.02. Has there been a more recent version of newbb?

The latest release is CBB 3.08 - and can be found here:
http://dev.xoops.org/modules/xfmod/project/?newbb

You will also need "frameworks" and "xoopseditors" - links for which can be found on the above url.

CBB 3.08 doesn't have the issues you describe when used with XOOPS 2.0.16

Make sure that you upload Frameworks and xoopseditors to the correct place:

website_root/Frameworks
website_root/class/xoopseditors

I have uploaded Frameworks and xoopseditors but I am lost on how to convert from newbb 2.02 to CBB and how not to lose any data. If there is any tutorial, please give me a link. If not, please offer instructions on doing this upgrade from newbb to CBB 3.08. Thanks.
