Hi,

When I go to edit my theme.html for better seo I dont see {$xoops_footer}> | at all in the code. Where do I insert this code? Please let me know. Thanks

Anywhere you wish to paste it, usually down the bottom.

But this all depends on how your theme has been designed as you may have to place it within a table or resize the foot within your style.css file.

Which theme.html are you editing?

Also why do you want to use the admin area footer for your main theme??

Admin area footer? To the best of my knowledge the <{$xoops_footer}> smarty tag is used for the generated footer (which could be more dynamic, hence the smarty tag).

rabideau: it isnt the admin footer, the tag dalex2006 has mentioned is the footer that gets used in almost ALL XOOPS themes to display the XOOPS footer. You can edit it within admin but it isnt the admin footer.

im just trying to enable my site to be seo friendly. I dont know what much to do to get top ranking results on google and yahoo. if anyone out there can help please let me know. Thanks
