Please help - Xoops/IPB issue

i did a upgrade on my site www.cafe18.net which is a ipb forum , but the root dir was www.dubaifengshui.com which is XOOPS , and it stopped working , now i am getting a error , i dint do anything in the root dir ,but still XOOPS doesnt work , can anyone help me ?

It looks like your index.php for XOOPS got overwritten by the IPB upgrade - I can accesshttp://www.dubaifengshui.com/user.php and the other modules seem to work from there. Reupload your XOOPS index.php and that should help your XOOPS site.

Your redirect for cafe18 will have to point to a different file if you are going to host 2 domains out of the same folder.

i dont have the XOOPS files with me and i dont know which version of XOOPS i am using , and the dubaifengshui domain is the root dir , but cafe18.net is in foldercafe18 which is in the root folders ,dont know what to do now

You can log into your XOOPS site - click on thishttp://www.dubaifengshui.com/user.php. Once you have logged in, go to the Administration Menu to find your XOOPS version in the footer of the page. Once you have that, you can get the file (index.php)you need to upload to the root folder

i get this error when i try to log in to admincp

ricky123,

First go to one of your site's subpages. Like one of your smartsection pages (http://www.dubaifengshui.com/modules/smartsection/item.php?itemid=3). Then login as skenow suggested. Once you have logged in then go to the Admin Control Panel and look at the XOOPS version information.

I believe if you just go to the /user.php page directly then it will try and redirect you to your root index.php file which is why you will get the IPB error you're seeing.

Once you get the XOOPS version info - then follow skenow's directions to replace your /index.php file.

thanks for replying ,as u said i logged in but then when i click on admincp link i get a error Quote:

is there no way of finding the XOOPS version from the files on ther server

thanks for the help mate ,but i am unable to find the index.php file for XOOPS 2.2.4 in this site
