Hey ppl!

Please let me know if I've overlooked a similar topic... but I was wondering...

if we have a topic where people ask for the kind of things they want and those who know what module would suit best for that would suggest?

whach'all think?

Do you mean a list of good modules for articles and a list for calendars etc?

If so look in the modules repository. They are all in section for different usage.

Don't forget to search the Dev Forge, too - there are some very old modules in the Module Repository and newer versions for some aren't there

oh ok.

but I meant that there are heaps of modules and versions on list... I thought users could ask/help one another by saying which works best for what...

I'm not really making sense am i?

No, I get your drift, there are some threads here recommending certain modules for best usage. To be fair, you have to do your own trials on a test site or local server to really know what's best for you.

I recommend smart modules in preference for nearly all my sites, but others use AMS, news and wfsections etc. You must try them all in test sites. It's the best learning curve.
