1. Is there any simple way to migrate users from phpwebsite to xoops, other than manually creating users?

2. How to add additional registration info like, address, phone etc while registering?

3. Any module to create bunch of users in bulk, not one by one?

I don't have time to look them up, so I just threw them on my server so you can download them:

http://crusthaven.com/import_users_v1.1.zip <- I have only TRIED it on 2.0.16. Only imports the basic info.

Also, if your passwords are already MD5 encrypted, put your site in maintenance mode so no-one registers while you are doing it, change the password field property in the database from MD5 to text, import them all with one of the scripts, then change it back to MD5.

If they are text passwords just use the importers as-is.

These are not MODULES. They are scripts you manually configure then run from the XOOPS root directory. Then delete them when you are done, or they become a security hole.

You can also use MS Access with the MySQL plugin, but any columns left unpopulated get nullified, and that can cause errors. It's easier to use the importers and .csv files.
