Ok, I have installed pages, but still I can't figure out how to solve my problem. I need a solution where one of the registered users can upload excel files which should be listed and visible to the members, and from where the members can download the files.

I am also looking for a similar solution regarding video files, none of the (picture) gallery modules seems useabale for this purpose.

Anyone with any idea?

page is a static content module.
but you need a dynamic content module.
also if you just want users download excel files (any files?)
you dont need a content one.just install a download module like "wfdownloads"
