News Menu For Anonomous Users

Using XOOPS 2.16 and installed default News 1.44.

Using blocks, I can easily set up News Topics, Big News, etc. in blocks where I want them for Webmasters and Registered Users groups. However, when I switch to the Anonomous group in Blocks admin, these items disappear from the list of blocks, so I can't make them visible or position them to anonomous users.

I'm missing something in how to administer these. Help.

admin/system/groups

anonymous

Set access to module: news (make sure it has a check mark)
then
Scroll down and place check mark next to blocks you want them to be able to see.

Now submit changes.
