Themes are up to designers....because Joomla has a lot of plastic corporations, they make plastic wrapping, yet inside is normally not on the outside....Xoops has a much stronger web-design environment....and can in fact have far better themes then any mentioned....I will get around to it at some point yet there are some...and many of us are taking this lets make something different in theme design....
Yet really we haven’t seen much of what XOOPS can do, people keep following box design of each other, when XOOPS is design to break out of the box...
As in if you look at our current themes, yet not half finished yet, is that XOOPS having blocks that are displayed by Smarty mean these blocks can also be on mouse over or mouse click and so making a very advanced looking site with ease…..
Think maybe XOOPS themes are so easy no one has really put there head around making some different…yet really we still haven’t touched more then two column theme design….
When you can actually use floating centre blocks over the existing content….one day we will hopefully see some more revolutionary ideas….
