How to send mass email to all users?

I tried to use the core XOOPS email function.
but it doesn't support images! not even html and bb codes.

I wanted to send christmas greetings but I was only able to send plain text.

I tried using evennews, but it gave an error "no users subcribed to email" or something like that.

Anyone? help please?

have you tested the xmail module ?
