You could also use a very simple module, and then just add lots of pages in Smarty also....
Place each name and html page as a template in the XOOPS version file....
wham bham module in mins.....
Also it would load faster then having a module to display what XOOPS does as its main purpose, of using Smarty to converts html into it's page.

OK, I have Pages and MultiMenu. I can create html pages with Pages and I can create menus with multimenu. Here are the issues I am having. You can look at a temp site:http://azuretactical.com

Multimenu.
1. How do I use Multi Menu to manage the entire menu structure, not just a new set of menus?

Pages.
1. I don't want a "module" called pages to show up on my main menu, I just want to put the pages I create there.
2. I can't find the url for the pages I create, so that i can add them to the menu .

I find this very non-intuitive, and I actually don't suck at all this stuff! Thanks!!

And, here's where you get Pages

multimenu
1- with multimenu you have full control to your menu. you can change every link. just read the user guides in the module carefully .

pages
1- in the edit page of any "page" you can choose to dont show page link under main menu.

2- url is like this:
http://www.d.jadoogaran.org/modules/pages/index.php?pagenum=1

you can copy and paste it in any menu with multimenu.

Personally now knowing XOOPS and doing that to begin 3 years ago.......
It is not always the best to use heavy modules for something that doesn't need the extra calls to the server.
That could be done by hand in the same amount of time by the web-master.....
Yet will load quicker for the end user and not slow the site down in the process of all the extra calls it will need for the module to begin....

As yes we can install a html module for each task, yet it also only takes a minute to make a module and insert that same html...

Here is another solution for this... rather unorthodox, but it gets the job done.

Hope this helps!

Another method is to use Pod's excellent Dreamweaver plugin

Definately recommended!
