I'm sure this question is answered somewhere amidst the mass of documentations or FAQs available for XOOPS.

I apologize in advance for asking a dumb question but.....

Here goes.....

I've got my XOOPS site set up.

I am now trying to create additional html pages within my site.

I've figured out how to use the 'multi menu' module to create my own menus and such.

I've also figured out how to use a content module called 'pagewrap' to create 1 additional stand alone html webpage with my own content in it.

However, I cannot, figure out how to make more than one page.

'PAGEWRAP' only lets me make one page. I want to make 10.

I want to create a side menu that points to a variety of pages within my XOOPS site that delivers additional content.

EXAMPLE: 'Contact Us', 'About US', 'Whats New' etc......

The 'Multi-Menu' module lets me do this.

I now need a module that will let me create multiple html pages that I can use the 'multi menu' module to create links to point to.

If there is some sort of way to make 'PAGEWRAP' duplicate html pages, please let me know cause I can't figure it out.

If not, can someone please recommend either a module or a process that might be useful.

I really don't want to mess around with editing the actual code as I will eventually have to train some staff to edit the site and its got to be as simple a process as possible.

Thanks so much in advance for any and all advice.

Best,

driftwork

I'm still quite new and am always amazed at how realy powerful XOOPS is. This worked really well for me and it also keeps all of your themes css in place.

Hope that this helps.

if you want to add static pages to your site its better to use " pages" module:
http://dev.xoops.org/modules/xfmod/project/?pages

but for wraping ll your existing html files you can use "wraps" module by Gijoe:

I have built a number of clan sites -- some from scratch, some using a cms. I am finding XOOPS to be very good. Lots of good features, modules, themes, etc.

However, I am having HUGE frustration in trying to build simple content pages. For example, I want to create a series of pages, that link from sub menus. Like this:

Games
>>Game 1
>>Game 2
Communications
>>Teamspeak
>>Chat
>>IRC

I have installed at least 5 "content" or html modules. In some of them I can create a page, but I can't get the menus to list properly. In most cases the module itself becomes the menu item. I don't want that. I just want simple pages off of normal menus. (I tried multimenu with no luck at all).

I find this baffling. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

do you want that menu to be created from "categories" or "pages"
if you want to have categories in a menu "smartsection" and also "news 1.5" have a menu like you want.

but if you want a menu from pages ( Specific!!! pages) you must install "multimenu" module and create your own menu from desired pages.

then you can install any other content module( "smartsection" for dynamic and "pages" for static purpose) separately and use multimenu to create your own menu.

edit:
i found this example for smartsection category block:
http://www.kadusmusic.com/modules/smartsection/ (block on the top right)

Thanks for all the replies.

So........ what your all saying is, a module like 'pages' will allow me to create multiple, independent html pages within Xoops. Then, I can use some module like multiMenue to link to as many of those pages as I want?

The key thing that I need here is the ability to construct MULTIPLE html pages.

So far, 'PageWrap' which is the module I'm using now, only allows me to make ONE page.

I need to make dozens of html pages.

Can someone confirm the modules I can use again to construct Multiple HTML pages:

Thanks very much again.

Best,
