rw banner - cant add new or edit banner

Whenever accessing /modules/rw_banner/admin/inser.php nothing displays and I can't change the banners. Seems like the db is fine. I updated the module.
With debug I get this error:
Fatal error: Call to a member function prefix() on a non-object in /home/carmicha/public_html/kcms/modules/rw_banner/class/class.tags.php on line 282
and
Notice: Undefined property: RWTag::$db in file /modules/rw_banner/class/class.tags.php line 282
Please help.

Xcgal - Remove submitted by link in lastuploads thumbs?

I'm using xcgal 2.02 and am trying to remove the submitters name and link below the tumbnails in last uploads thumbnail view. Does anyone know how to do this?

Do I change this in news_randomnews.php ?


if ($options[3] > 0) {
$news['teaser'] = xoops_substr(strip_tags($myts->displayTarea($story->hometext)), 0, $options[3]+3);
$news['infotips'] = '';
}


I tried taking out strip_tags but that didn't work.

Do I have to take it out of all blocks php files?

I'm bangin' my head.

Please help.

I'm still quite new and am always amazed at how realy powerful XOOPS is. This worked really well for me and it also keeps all of your themes css in place.

I am using 2.0.16 of XOOPS and don't want to upgrade because I've hacked so much of it.

I did find this thread in the FAQ:

Worked for me to add a field for the Real Name.

In addition I used this hack as a guide to also add Location as another field which took care of my Zip Code problem.

My modifiing the variables of $user_from and _US_LOCATION

How do I add a required field for a Real Name in the user registration? also a field for zip code?
