Please help us help you: have you done this?
Before posting please do a search in the XOOPS top right "Search" box using appropriate "keywords" and find out if the subject has been dealt with before. Also look through the FAQ’s, especially if you're unsure what search words to use.

I couldn’t find any related issues by searching what next?

Turn on debug:
To switch on debug, go to system admin-->preferences and then general settings. You will see a "Debug mode" field. Choose "PHP Debug". Then go to the page that has problems and copy and paste any error messages under php-debug messages in the template below.
When posting any debug messages please 'wrap' the message like this: Use the word 'code' in square brackrets [] and at the end put /code in square brackets.

Been meaning to ask this for a while:

Is there an easy way to find out what version of php my hosted server is running? The other info is available.

Also, and in connection with this thread, there were some issues with the early downloads of the News 1.50 module which have been corrected in the current download. If you're usuing this module and the download was made more than about 3 days ago then try a fresh download/upload/install.

This question will get lost in this thread - I know it sometimes seems easier for the poster to ask a question or to in addition to giving help but if they are not in line with the topic we have two issues - one - not being on topic and two - the question may well go unanswered.

So...Please ask this question in a new thread after searching the forum and FAQ sections for an answer. (sorry I don't have an answer for you on this one )
