Heres the deal, I would like to get a list of modules commonly used.

IE" CBB-3.07, members, wf-downloads, ect".

I will be placing these in a test site so fellow xoopsters can veiw what they do and how they can work with the modules.

sence i cant place all the modules in the test site ( posible module DB conflicts with other modules DB ) this would be the best route to go.

Thanks,
Marc.

This was done. See https://xoops.org/modules/mylinks/singlelink.php?cid=8&lid=947
but currently the link is broken (I've already reported it). You might however like to contact the originator t see if it can be taken over/fixed.

Ive seen his site, and it was a inspration to mine, but never less, i still need to know what modules fellow xoopsters would like to see and use in the testing site.

sence it will be open to the public and not just my clients.
There is no sence to have all 30 megs of ziped modules in the site if only a few of them get used, along with this ive notice many are nolonger working or suported with the updated XOOPS sence the 2.0.10 version was released.

I know we do this kind of thread every few months. But with the advent of the new releases (core and modules), it is always good to see which modules people still find the most useful.

I know I've switched hats a few times from one dev to another as things were coming out.

So if anyone wants to, again, list their favorite modules in different categories, it would also help me with a little project I am developing. I'll see to my list soon also.

Cheers.

The Demo site team have selected a number of the most regarded modules aimed at different userbases - for people to experiment for themselves on the new site.

However, as we're aware that new and exciting modules can appear quite suddenly - we'll also include a submit module request form as well - so people can request others to appear.

May we ask what this modules would be?

I was thinking about placing them into cats like the Reository Has.
for this i would need the multi menu,
speaking of....

solo71, Ive added all but the hacks.
I used the multi 16. sence the 8 and 16 have the same DB.
Thanks for your submition..
Your can check them out at the test site HERE

youll need to log in using the given user and password, from there you can activate any module you wish.
