I tried installing a couple of Modules and it gave me these messages:

"failed open file"

"Unable to write to main menu."

I've already successfully installed Modules into my site before. I don't know why I'm getting these errors now.

Does anybody know what the problem and fix is?

I recommend deleting adminmenu.php file in the cache folder and then update system module..and also this problem appears if you have changed the admin.php filename
