Hi just tried the latest vers of cbb 3 and when you upload the newbb file to the modules you can see the module appear in the admin/module section of XOOPS by using refresh...but towards the end of the upload it disappears and you can not install it when fully uploaded...
Anybody else had this or found a work around?

I don;t fully understand this - towards the end of the upload it disapears - as in while you are uploading files vis ftp? When you think it is done and go to install it you can't see it as available to install ??

regardless: if the file is not uploaded properly you will either not see it or get a file not found message if it is a new module for your site.

If it is so you can upgrade - newbb is already installed and you need to press the upgrade icon in modules admin next to where it is already installed.

Turn on phpdebug to identify problems
Please tell us your XOOPS version too.

When you up a mod via ftp you can usually see it when it is part installed in admin/modules, although it prob would not fully install untill fully transfered by ftp.

When it was part transfered i could see it showing but it said file not found, but the was an icon for the mod that disappeared when fully loaded.

My XOOPS version is
Powered by XOOPS 2.0.15 © 2001-2005 The XOOPS Project

Turned on the debugging and nothing shown..it's as if towards the end the mod just doesnt show, i.e. you cant install!

Going to try another mod to see if that loads..
