when you go to register at the end it says- "Could not register new user." it dosent let them sign in and, the join date is 1969/12/31. with -1 post. i think my site has been hacked. i am a noob at this is there anything i can change under Administration Menu- xoops/html/admin.php?

Did your host change anything? (php, MySQL update?)

If you switch on debugging (php/sql) in preferences:
Do you get any error messages or failing sql querries?

No the only thing i changed was

"Session expiration

Maximum duration of session idle time in minutes (Valid only when 'use custom session' is enabled. Works only when you are using PHP4.2.0 or later.)"

and this was well before it got bugged.

Also i tryed the debug u gave me and i didnt get a message

what is your XOOPS version?
it seems its a bug in XOOPS versions before 2.2.3 final
