Can I disable the Private Message Function?

Hello kevin - can't say i can recall this from preferences without diving in to look it up - but did you try searching 'desable private messages pm's'? (if you just use pm our search function won;t find it as there needs to be at least 3 characters to a word) - i am sure this would have been discussed on these forums somewhere already.

A hack like this was discussed here - but it was quite a long time ago, so i'm not sure if it will work (so please backup before trying!)
