to what koivi concerns and with a normal XOOPS 2.0.16 install, this thread {here} gives an explanation, and a couple of things are left clear at this other thread {here}.

there is also a xoopseditor pack that is for the CBB module and maybe all of phppp's modules...that comes with it's instructions.

and there other options too with maybe better editors like it looks like Tiny Editor is.
