I'm having a big problem with my company's XOOPS powered website. I have access to the administrator account, but when I log into the XOOPS control panel and make preferences or user account changes, XOOPS reports "Database Updated Successfully", but the changes are NOT applied.

I would love to turn debug mode on to be able to give you more information, but even if I change the option from "Off" to "PHP Debug" and press "Go!", the change is not saved. Also, caching is not enabled.

Please let me know if you have any inkling to what might be going on here. Thanks! I've posted the details of our XOOPS setup below:

Website URL:
http://www.asc-rt.com

XOOPS Version:
XOOPS 2.0.7.3

XOOPS Theme:
imago02

XOOPS Template Set:
In Use

PHP Version:
5.1.6

MySQL Version:
4.1.21-standard

Server Software:
Apache

User's Browser:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1) Gecko/20061010 Firefox/2.0

Try turning register_globals On in your php.ini file.

Upgrading to 2.0.9.2 seems to have fixed the problem. Whether it was something weird in a PHP file or a version incompatibility, I have no idea. I'm glad it's fixed, though!

After some minor setbacks, my site is up to XOOPS 2.0.15, and all of the problems seem to have disappeared! Thanks for the help, everyone!

I'm having similar problems but only when I use Firefox browser (for the last couple of versions).
Already on 2.0.15 of XOOPS
Opera and IE are ok. Feel it's a Firefox issue - any suggestions?
Regards
Malcolm
