I give up on newbb, want to uninstall the module.

any tutorials on module uninstallation?

Yes, use CBB 3.07

Newbb2 is very very very old now

I have NewBB 2.01 and would very much like to upgade to CBB, but is this possible without loseing last 2 years posts?
Being transgender is NOT a choice.

You might need to go in a step first to 2.02 - go here and you will see how the module developed. Scroll down and there are links to update your 2.01 to 2.02 or go directly to the 'files' link in the top menu. HTH

PS BACKUP THE DATABASE FIRST! Just in case!
