Hi all. I really like Liaise but it would be nice to have the form information submitted to my site merely store in the db for later extraction instead of having the info emailed to me. Anybody do a hack for this or have another suggestion? Thanks for any tips.

If you use formulaire, it will save the sendings in the db

Formulize, based originally on Formulaire, may also suit your needs. It is focused on searching, sorting and reporting on the data in the database, rather than sending e-mails.

P.S. Snow - I saw your comment on Formulaire in the module repository, and FYI Formulize has an export to csv feature that may be more like what you are looking for. Unfortunately, there is no import mechanism to take your forms and data between the modules, but the data structures are not that different and with a bit of work it would be possible.

hi. i realize this is a pretty late post on this topic but somebody just told me about some pretty neat software that is similar to what we are talking about and i thought i'd mention it.

dadabik - DaDaBIK is a free PHP application that allows you to easily create a highly customizable front-end for a database in order to search, insert, update and delete records; all you need to do is specifying a few configuration parameters.

useful.

Pretty neat, thanks for the link!

I notice that system only works as a management front end to existing datatables, so that's a pretty big limitation for ad hoc use in a XOOPS site, but it is a nice interface for handling existing data.

Take it easy,
