Installing modules

I am really new to xoops. I like what I see so far, but I have been puzzled about how to install modules. Do I just copy them to the server in the module directory or is there way to do it through the admin section?

Sorry, if I have just overlooked something, but any help would be great.

I found the operation doc with the module install howto in it.

Glad you found it - for future reference:

New users should always checkout the following:
1. Documentation - linked on the left. Specifically the administration manual
2. The FAQ section - linked on the left - specifically the sections on gloassry, beginners first steps, modules, blocks and themes. There are links to visual tutorials here.
3. The search function on the top right.
Please check also the read B4U post link below if you have problems.
