What if I just want to put information on the site?

I have set all sorts of stuff up, and I'm very happy with the way XOOPS is working! Now I want to add pages that are not in a certain category, yet are in the main menu (board list,about info, etc), and I have found no way to do so. Does it HAVE to be in the News or forum sections? The forum is not the main feature of the site, so posting stickies there will not do the job...

take a look at GIJOES tinyd module for posting content.

A wiki and some menu editing will probably do it for you.
