Installed Small Ads 1.4 on XOOPS 2.0.15
but when submiting ads the Title row pull down window
is still display some default categories
(Search, Exchange, buy, for sale and for rent)

I have created Sell, Buy, Exchange and Wanted categories.

I have searched this forum for clues and fixes but
none of the bugs were like mine.

Can some kind people guide me? Thanks.

Counter is not working.

If you click the "printer" icon this particular line will turn up
Contact : PM _MD_CATADS_CONTACT_MODE0

Beside all the unsolved bugs listed at
https://xoops.org/modules/repository/singlefile.php?cid=9&lid=1574

it is a good program after all.

Hi catfish

I also am having some minor problems with Catads as I am putting in some extra fields on the submission page that will show up on the Ads page.

I've got it sort of working, but the results are not quite displaying properly unless I re-edit the final Ad.

Upon doing this Hack, I have found there are a few mistakes in the coding and am preparing details of these to submit to Felix the Cat, who I think released this module. Doing it this weekend and hopefully get a reply, as it seems he has not been on this site since March this year, so posting a message on his site.

Also have you updated your 'form.php' file as this may also fix your problem.. a fix that is needed to get some modules to work with the latest XOOPS version...search on this forum for 2.0.15 form and you will find the link

I like this module. It is very useful.

Hi Catfish

I tried to post the details of the problems and changes I made directly to the 'The Cat' on his website but it appears no-one can signup there, so had to post it on the French XOOPS site. I just hope the google translation tool I used comes out making sense. I did publish a French and English version.
