Hi All,

A couple of questions regarding XOOPS:

i) Is there a way that you can have the results of a module file inserted into your XOOPS page (for instance the results of the index page of xfguetsbook module in the main page). I tried creating a custom block and then having an include in there (include(XOOPS_ROOT_PATH . '...') but it included the whole page in the centre block. Anyone tried to do that before?

ii) I need to create a page that will have some of the blocks on the left side of the page and some of the blocks that my XOOPS page has on the right. What files do I need to edit to achieve that?

Thanks,
George

Go to administration, then:
system admin=>Preferences=>General Settings

Up near the top you will see: MODULE FOR YOUR START PAGE..
Set that to whatever module you want and then set up your blocks.

Also A new Trick I just learned is wiwimod can actually build a site within it self of your own, in other words you can select any block and display it, as it's own page in wiwimod...

hth,

That is correct, but what if I want to display is not the index page of the module? For example, when you want to display a certain category of the forum or the results of a certain poll?
