Why does my database get an internal error every few days?and I backedup all my files including:apache,php, XOOPS and mySQL. but everytime I load my backsup, they never seem to work either.

Hmm...what has your host provider had to say? I figure if your site works ok today, tomorrow and then gets an internal error...and then works ok and repeats the cycle then it could be host rather than XOOPS related. Just a suggestion that you check out what they have to say about it. Mine is mute on a similar issue which touch wood appears to have gone away. My 'cannot find server' notices have not appeared for a few days. But they haven't reposnded.
