xoops and ipb error

hello all!

IPB * invision power board * forum module
http://ayubians.com/thesite/modules/ipboard/

The website has developed the following error, kindly guide me how to fix it. thanks.
P.S: i have a database backup of 4-9-6 will that be of any help or is there a way around to fix this problem

Which XOOPS version and which IPB hack version are you using?

your database table is corrupted, please do a repair on the database by using phpmyadmin.

Thanks monty for showing concern!

would you please tell me step by step of how i can fix this problem using phpmyadmin ! I dont see any option of repair in phpmyadmin!

I will be really greatful to you.

go into phpmyadmin, and sql query screen,

type

REPAIR TABLE `xoops_session`

do that for any tables that are found corrupted..

you can of course on the main screen where it lists all the tables..

scroll to the bottom, click the select all link which will tick all the boxes, then in the selection box is a dropdown list, select repair.
