I saw this asked before but no reply's and now I have the same question...
Fresh Install of 2.0.15
When I click on Lost Password I recieve this email-

If you didn't ask for this, don't worry. Just delete this Email.

When I click on it it sends me back to the Login Screen..Then a few minutes later i recieve this email-

A web user from 00.00.18.14 has just requested that password be sent.

Username: reguser
New Password: 9ve41tia

You can change it after you login athttp://website.com/user.php.
If you didn't ask for this, don't worry. You are seeing this message, not 'them'. If this was an error, we are really sorry but please login with your new password.

The first email is sent to the user's email address to verify that it was in fact the user that requested the password change. If the password were changed immedietly, without asking first, some one wishing to be an annoyance could go around and force password changes randomly.

has confused some users so i will remove it .. i believe i can do that in the languge area correct?

yes you are right you can chnage it on the language area... it is in "language/english/mail_template/lostpass1.tpl"...
