forums module error, any help?

Hi, I am trying to install Invision Power Board and I am keep getting this message any help would be great, I am reading the begginers guide but cant seem to find the answer to my problem, any help? Thanks

The invision power board is not necessarily compatable with XOOPS - our module for forums is CBB. If you search for invision power board you will find topics discussing it - if you were clever you might be able to integrate it but as a new user if i were you I would stick with modules written for xoops.

just noticed I did not provide the error, here it is...

That specific error means you have not uploaded the module correctly anyway:
either you did not unzip and upload the correct folder
or if you did the upload went astray and the cybergremlins grabbed some of the files...or being that specific module there may be a lack of connection between it and XOOPS anyway.

Have you seen the XOOPS module deployment tutorial? Let me give you the whole speel:

New users should always checkout the following:
1. Documentation - linked on the left. Specifically the administration manual
2. The FAQ section - linked on the left - specifically the sections on gloassry, beginners first steps, modules, blocks and themes. There are links to visual tutorials here.
3. The search function on the top right.
