I recently upgraded to 2.0.15 and since doing so no-one can login,

I get a blank white page.

It's kind of disastrous seeing as how my entire website is pretty much members only o.0

Any help would be great.

I've cleared the sessions table and tried resetting the use custom sessions option to 0 using phpMyAdmin

0. From which previous version did you update? Did you clear templates_c?


1. Which PHP / MySQL versions are you using?


2. Does the new feature magic ink (white text on white background) on the blank page give any info?

Press ctrl-a to mark all to make it visible. Any error messages? Any error messages with debugging on?
(try to login with http://www.yoursite.com/admin.php)


3. For a quickfix (but please provide the answer for 1 in any case to help hunting down the issue):

Grab the file /include/checklogin.php from your previous installation and try to replace the current one with that. See if that helps.

No error messages, admin.php login doesn't work

checklogin.php replacement does work...

something strange happened to me... i don't know why but , my default theme was gone... i put the folder again.. and WALA! it was working again!... check out the templates... try to use the 2.0.14 templates ... from where you can't access... from the users.php , from block... both???

I have a similar issue:

Deleted the proper files, cleared the proper folders and uploaded the htdocs folder to root and the upgrade folder.

I was running the upgrade from 2.0.13.2 to 2.0.15.


The problem is that the http://myurl.com/upgrade page is blank.

And the main page url displays the following:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: getinstance() in /home/myID/domains/myURL.com/public_html/xoops/include/common.php on line 39

I copied the common.php file from the 2.0.15 folder back up to my server and now I get the admin logon prompt, but then I get the following:

Pleae help my entire site is down!

I had similar issues, with a white page, after upgrading my site to 2.0.15. I tried several solutions as described under different threads here, but I found another solution.

In MySQL I changed:
-> config
-> theme_set
-> conf_value to default

Then my site was up again. I havn't tried to change back to my old theme yet
