Hello all,

Which photo gallery module will allow the registered user to create their own album? Any suggestion are welcome.

MyAlbum Module and Xcgallery Module will both do it. Take a look in the modules of the news section above to find the latest version and version for your xoops.

AFAIK, users can't create their own albums/categories in myAlbum-P. Maybe in xcGallery? I confess I can't remember.
A thread is for life. Not just for Christmas.

xcGallery supports user created albums.

Yes, Xcgallery works great!! Thank you guys!

Now I think I need some more blocks than what it has right now (being greedy I guess). Any suggestion of what I can do to create some blocks like "most viewd, last uploaded etc..." Most of the feature is there already, just want to put them in a block.

Hi again.

You should have a few blocks available with xcGallery. Check out the metaGallery(I think it called that) Block. It displayes latest photos, most popular etc...

Here is a link to an excellent tutorial that MadFish wrote. I haven't tried it yet myself but I hear it's great!

Thanks again! I will try the meta album.

The Tutoral is excellent, and I can't wait to try it. With all the developer busy on doing the "real stuff", it doesn't feel right to keep asking these kind of easy stuff :)

Thank you for all your help and I will report back what I can accomplish for the block.
