i have got a problem with posted URL's, sometimes there are very long URL's whitch kill my theme. Is it possible to chop these URL's to something like that:

http:/www.domain.com/test...

and where do i have to edit?

I don't know how to stop users from doing it but if you teach them to use the 'insert link' - the chain link button when they make a post this won't happen. You can have your moderators edit the posts by creating the link for the user - and perhaps putting in a note like - Edited by moderator - please use the link button when inserting URL's in your post.

However, this would be a pain if you had to do it all the time - this is a bandaid solution - don't have a clue how to stop it from happening in the first place - sorry
