I did do a search for this but couldnt find an answer to my probs.

i've just installed the new version of XOOPS on a brand new database and new folder on my webserver, which is running XOOPS fine.

i've set everything up ok and can get to my home page etc, but when i log in as the administrator and click the administrators menu link, the page changes to "Sorry, you do not have permission to access this area".

everything looks ok in the database but i may have missed something...

can someone help me plz :(

Try disabling your firewall and do it. Sounds crazy I know.....

forgot to mention that its not running on my computer, its all running on the net
