I would like to know how you place an RSS feed in sections other than Headlines. I tried to create a custom block using the same template as the Headline block, but didnt work. I guess I need more flexibility as to where and how I place RSS feeds on the site.

Specifically, I would like to create a block on the left or right that will contain a Monster.com RSS feed with specific jobs I like. Any help would be appreciateed. I suppose since a standard block recognized PHP and HTML, one could embed it inside that way.

What you need is a more generic RSS feed module. I'd recommend you use one created by GIJOE. You can find the module called xhld - (current version is 3.05)
