Can I upgrade from 2.0.10 english version to the 2.0.14 spanish version without installing the patches in between? Where is the file and which is the correct procedure?

Assuming that in the spanish version only the language files were modified - you can do that.

You can find the spanish version on the frontpage of the official spanish support site for example.

Actualizando desde cualquier versión de XOOPS compendidas entre 2.0.10 y 2.0.13.2
1. Copie el contenido del directorio htdocs/ excepto mainfile.php sobrescribiendo el contenido ya existente.
2. Elimine los siguientes directorio y archivos:
* class/smarty/core
* class/smarty/plugins/resource.db.php
3. Vacíe el directorio templates_c (excepto index.html)
4. Suba el directorio 'upgrade' a su sitio
5. Asegúrese de que el servidor tiene acceso de escritura a mainfile.php
6. Identifíquese como administrador
7. Acceda a /upgrade/ desde su navegador web preferido, y siga las instrucciones
8. Proteja nuevamente su mainfile.php contra escritura
9. Elimine el directorio 'upgrade' una vez aplicada la actualización

But i don't understand where I have to put the folder called "upgrade" (as it explains in item 4), and what to do then. Somebody can tell me?

If it's just upgrade of the XOOPS system, everything will go ok if you follow the instructions. (I think the upgrade folder goes inside XOOPS root folder)

If you will overwite the spanish language files too make sure they have the same charset language encoding as the file you have right now.

My upgrade:

Note: From the preferences of the site it changes the language; english to spanish

1.- Upload htdocs/ folder except mainfile.php
2.- Steps 2, 3, 5 and 6 (release notes) xD
3.- Access < your.site.url>/upgrade/ using your browser, and follow the instructions
4.- Steps 8 and 9
5.- Update modules: system and others
why? in order to generate templates in spanish.
