I'm trying to make the sidebar more narrow in my kubrick left theme. It doesn't seem to work though. If you go to http://www.alwaysonproductions.com, the background of the sidebar is overlapped by the main content. I want to make the sidebar narrower so the content can keep that width and not run into the sidebar. But it seems that the sidebar won't get any narrower. I've tried every combination of changing widths margins, padding, etc. in theme.html and style.css. Here's the css area:

It's definitely more than 140px...

just look in css at #content.withsidebar !!!
You're looking on the left column but sollution in in the center column.
PS as I see You have solved this problem

ok I changed the color to show the problem. The sidebar seems to be fine (#999999). But there's still a little strip to the right of it that seems to be behind it (#f9f9f9). This is an extremely light gray, but different from the white background of the main content, which pours into this section behind the sidebar. So the problem is still there.

in: images/kubricksides.png look on it there's a FFFCFF colour used on left side of this image! (bg image)
if U want me to create (in 1 minute) a new image just email me.

wow great work! jeez I never would have thought of the bg image, now I'm kicking myself for it. I fixed it, thanks!
