ENVIRONMENT:
Operating System: Windows 2003 Server
Web Server: IIS 6.0
Xoops 2.0.14
PHP 4.3.11
MySQL 4.1
Module: Weblinks 0.93

OBJECTIVE:
I would like to have the search form from the weblinks_header.html file and only a portion of the weblinks_index.html on the home page in a custom block.

My reasoning is I only want some of that data on the home page that is on the weblinks module home page and more importantly I do not what the home page redirect that occurs when you assign a module to the home page.

This is what I want it to look like:

ISSUE:
I have simply pasted in the code in part or in it’s entirety into a custom block and one of two things happen, all the code is displayed or the block does not show up at all. This is with trying the block in HTML and PHP.

QUESTIONS:
1. Is this even possible and if so,
2. What is the proper procedure and/or syntax?
Thanks, Technobia

I posted this same message in Beginers Corner after not getting any response here after about 5 days. There jensclas suggested the following procedure for cloning a block. It worked great!
