Looking for module suggestions...

I just installed XOOPS and understand the whole module concepts; but without wading through a ton of them, I'd like some advice on what I should install to approximate our current html designed and updated website.

The website is: http://www.doghouserules.net

Here's what we need...

1) Blogging/news module for main page (I've downloaded WordPress 152 already...is this any good?)

2) Forums module

3) Main product catalog page (see: http://www.doghouserules.net/recoiled/index.html); also we may need more of these in the future.

3A) Individual product pages; see examples:

http://www.doghouserules.net/recoiled/recoiled.html
http://www.doghouserules.net/recoiled/ftfgv3.html

4) Company Info and Submission Policy pages

Any help and advice would be great...thanks in advance!

1) The Word Press modules are great, good choice.

2) I would go for CBB. I just installed the latest version, and am completely satisified with it.

3) Either the OSCommerce module or the Zencart one. I would lean towards OSCommerce myself, but then I use it as an independent script on another site. I so not know what the module would be like.

4) Same as 3.

4) Disclaimer.

Thanks for the suggestions Swain; we don't actually sell products from our website, we sell from a 3rd party vendor. We simply display product information on our site and linke offsite. Is OS Commerce or Zencart suitable for that?
