CBB last version?

Hello Xoopsers,

1- What is last good one of the CBB Module?
2- I think newbb it is (CBB)?!
3- I have installed newbb 1.15, and I want to update it to the last release of CBB (If the CBB is another name for newbb) on XOOPS 2.0.13.2, can I do that?

Newbb has been replaced by CBB.

CBB has been coded by Phppp - who is one of the developers of the original Newbb.

The latest release can be found on the news section (at the current date it's here: https://xoops.org/modules/news/article.php?storyid=3249 - but if you read this post in the future, check for the latest release)

I believe that you can upgrade from previous Newbb releases to the current one - but please backup your site and database first

PS: You may also want to look at upgrading to XOOPS 2.0.14 as well... please make sure you follow the same advise about backing up first

but can I upgrade (from newbb 1.15 to CBB 3.05) directly or I have to upgrade one by one:

(1,15 to 1,16 and so on???)

and does the last one of cbb works with XOOPS 2.0.13.2??

If i remember correctly you can upgrade cbb directly.
(hence really do a backup of files and db first

)
