Theme not updating??

I downloaded the ocean net theme, it has some asian or similar words at the top, I have changed this in the index.html found in the theme folder. Is this all I need to do? It just doesn't seem to be updating... been waiting for two days.

Turned this "Check templates for modifications ?" to Yes in Administration / Preferences / General settings?

Don't forget to turn this off, once you are through with all the layout-changes. This auto-update consumes some queries and therefore a certain amount of load-time.
