Hello.

I've just uninstalled IPB and set up CBB.

I've the following problem.

When i go to the forum index, only categories are displayed but forums aren't. So, people cannot access forums!

Also, there is this piece of code:
Quote:
" alt="" /> =
" alt="" /> =
=

and [] (empty brackets) instead of forum names.

If someone would have an idea about that problem...

Thanks in advance!

Edit: You can see it here:

Forums seem to be well displayed, anyway:

hhttps://xoops.org/modules/smartfaq/faq.php?faqid=307

And also make sure you regenerate any templates from a previous version of the forum module (perhaps you had newbb installed?)

BTW: - this has been asked before...

Hello David and thanks for your reply.

I've searched the forum and didn't find the reply. Maybe I haven't entered the right keywords...

I had newbb installed maybe 2 years ago, so it might be the problem yes...

I'll try to *regenerate* template (about that, I've to remove files from template_c, right?... Because I did it and it didn't change anything, I'll try again!).

About the page you gave me, I don't understand the link with my problem

"Where do I put the <{$xoops_module_header}> into theme.html ?"

What is the thing related with my problem? ^_^ (I'm sorry for my stupid question but I don't really see ^^).

Glad I could help

The point about the themes... sometimes that piece of Smarty code isn't added to a theme, and it can mess the appearance up badly... especially with the hover menus. But in this case, it was the templates that needed to be regenerated.

(I've had this problem myself in the past )

I haven't read a lof about smarty (I should read about it someday as I see this name more and more on the net ^^).

I think I've also a problem about "news" module. I tried to delete cache and all but it doesn't display news in the news page... Well, maybe I should create another topic for that (or try to search the forum with all kinds of keywords before).
