Well rowd(ie) is still around. Latest project was the new xoops.docs site

Beyond that holding the rank of core developer.

The poll module though never took off. It was written for XOOPS 2.2.x and did not make it out of alpha as far as i can see.
The module name was xpoll and the page is still there on dev.xoops.org. ( LINK )

And you might want to rephrase that:

[size=x-small]Does Rowdie still get involved with XOOPS or has he gone elsewhere? Did he ever finish his work on the module I wonder?[/size]

Rowdie is a 'she' and yes I'm still involved with XOOPS. I rarely have time to make anything for myself anymore though, busy with XOOPS needs - and with my real job.

I had almost finished the xpoll module (alpha) last year, just needed to finish one block function I think. It was only for 2.2 though, I wanted to change that before releasing it. Never found the time, in fact I pretty much stopped all module dev work last year after joining the core dev team.

Looking at my mini-roadmap for xpoll I hadn't coded user id based validation yet, so even if I go through my old code it wouldn't help you Ted.

a) getting your gender wrong and
b) not realising how involved you actaully are with XOOPS still! I am a fool. I've been a bit out of touch with the forums recently for one reason or another so I did not realise. Thinking about it, I do recall remember reading a few responses from you but last night it did not register.

A good point! Again, all I meant was during my time with XOOPS over the last few years many talented contributers have come and gone from Xoops. Predator springs to mind, but there are several others who went to other CMS projects.

I hope I caused no offence.

I have added a further suggestion to make this module even better! McNaz has got his hands full but he'll get lots of recognition for all this work!
