Just wondering is anyone have done this:

using News or AMS module i would like to have a backend news feed that just look for feeds on a specific topic.

example:

if my site have 10 news topics, but i just wanto to allow a backend.php file to display the feeds from topic number 5 and ignore the rest 9 topics.

does anyone have done that?

how difficult it will be.. or can someone help me out?

* i take a look on the backend.php file but since am not a pro php programmer i didnt succedid

You may be able to do that with RSSFithttps://xoops.org/modules/repository/singlefile.php?cid=84&lid=1341. It allows you to display subfeeds. I don't know if this is the latest version; check their home page.
