i am using myalbum-p and it work beautifully.
with that, it shows there isn't any problem with the GD2 lib or something.

this is the 1st time i encounter "images not showing up" issue.

i tested the module on a totally different server and same problem occured. i wonder if i did miss out any steps.

chmod 777 for the image/ad folder. thats it right?

what do i put for
"# of allowed extensions" in the admin perference

Myalbum-p is using its own upload, while catads is using the XOOPS upload. Do you have access to server logs.Searching there for clues may help ...

Did you try to backup upload.php from 2.0.13.2 and replace it with the one from 2.0.13.1 ?

when you say you have file tmp_******, where is it (what folder)

BTW, I use the module on 2.0.13.2 instalation with replacing upload.php
..

That is not what I meant. When you submitted an annonce what is the code like where the picture should be?

i tried replacing upload.php and it doesn't work either.

as for the tmp_ thing, its no more.
but the pic still doesn't show up.

other modules are working perfectly that involes image.

only this particular module. catads 1.4

And what is it now ...?
Are the images (img_.......) in the catads/images/ads/ folder, what you have there?
Did you had any errors in the logs (web server and php)?
Did you try XOOPS debug mode?
If the server is appache, do you have mod_sec there? Any errors in his log?
If you do right click on "x" image and properties, what do you see in Adress(URL) part?
Did you try to use diferent image (jpg, phg, gif)?
Did you try to use diferent browser (IE, Firefox)?

How about a link to the site ...?

i check the ftp
i saw all the file i uploaded like
ads_1148867082.jpg and img_1148830940_0.jpg

I haven't done debugging yet.
(will test it)

i tried mozilla and its the same.

I found out what caused my problem. It was Norton Internet Security. When I disable it I the pictures are shown.
