Catads is running successfully for me using XOOPS 2.2.4. I had to adjust the image file size in the preferences and my images upload with no problem.

@Limecity
Are you using the browse feature to upload and getting an error message? Or does it say your submission was successful but doesn't show the pix? Having trouble understanding exactly what you are having problems with.

sadly i am still using 2.0.13

for catads.
i can't get the images to show up after successful submission. yes u got that right. i believe its a very known issue of the module.

Through all the forums i read through, there is no ending to it on how its solved. it just ended mysteriously

i tried myads before that,
but later found out catads is more popular and updated. so thinking t move to catads.

for xclassified.
mysteriously its wipeout from XOOPS and lost in existence.

so how do i solve the catads problem? the file is successfully uploaded as i check through my ftp. but it appears as tmp_dwqfgsfgwgdcqgergr.jpg or something like that with prefix tmp_

i try rename the file to the one same as the database, it showed as [x] in the webpage.

I really don't understand the problem and hoping someone could help me with it.

Double check to make sure you /modules/catads/images/ads is writeable. It sounds like a temp file issue when uploading.

I've got the same problem. The files are uploading but are not shown within the page. There is no code in included (path to the image) were it is supposed to be:

i am still getting the problem.
the file name in the database and in the ftp are matched. but i still don't know why the pics won't show up.

What looks your code like where the image should appear?

I can't remember if I had to do any modifying to make it work properly (old age), but it's worth a try

Onwards and upwards At least we know it's not the module itself.

It would seem there's a server issue. What version of PHP are you using? Do you have GD2 lib installed? I'm just taking a guess. I don't much about that type of stuff, I know enough to get myself into trouble
