Hi

I just tryed to update my extrem guestbook ( in the module overwiev pressed update)

Now my control panel is gone, when i go to administration menu there is no icons, the top bar is there, but the rest is missing, got no admin posibilityes, please help, my site has 3000 visiters a day, so i have to get this problem solved fast..

I´m running 2.0.10 rc2

try deleting adminmenu.php from the cache folder, then goto admin

it'll say this is your 1st visit to admin etc etc, click ok.. hopefully you should then see the icons.

and u should really update to at least 2.0.10 final instead of an RC version.. 2.0.13.2 would be better still.

Thanks for the advise, unfortinulity it did´nt work

It did say This is you first wisit to admin etc...
But it was the same result.

Is there anything else i can do !!!

The site works on user level.
But it is a matter of time, when i can´t admin the site..

try this

login with your admin account.

then paste this into your browser after you have logged in >

http://www.yourdomain.com/modules/system/admin.php?fct=modulesadmin&op=update&module=system

change http://www.yourdomain.com to your domain tho..

That was not the best thing to do !!!

Now my site is criblet.. all my blocks i without content !!!

HELP!!!

re upload the modules/system folder onto your server.. i presume you still have the original XOOPS 2.0.10 rc2 zip u downloaded..

not sure what's happened.

I think is is somthing to do with my templates_c Alle the new files in there is 0 in size

And no i haven´t got the installation files..

What to do !!

Im getting quit destperate, my site is now totaly a mess.

Please can anyone give me a hint on what to do.

i don't think there was any db changes from 2010 to latest.

have you done any hacks at all?

if not, then i would suggest downloading 2.0.13.2 full & trying that way. i'd say something is wrong/corrupted in the system folder. make sure not to overwrite mainfile.php and also remove the other modules before you upload otherwise u might overwrite your existing modules..

sounds complicated but it isn't.. if u don't fancy messing with it, i could take a look for you if you give me ftp access etc.

do u have a recent backup?
