Update system module in modules administration.

Then try it again, good luck.

You need to deinstall your modules correctly. Reload the modules to your new site, they should reappear in your admin panel. Then uninstall them correctly. Once they are unistalled correctly you may remove the code from your server.

The module corruption may be what is causing your other problem as well.

There are other ways to do this but they are more involved and require you manually edit your database content...

It now appears I have the same problem.
I first thought it was a problem specifically to do with updating the forum from v1 to v2 see https://xoops.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=49929&forum=28

but I had only just updated the site from 13.1 to 13.2.

As I had no solution given and had tried everything suggested and that is detailed in the faq I uninstalled the old forum. NOT something I wanted to do!!
I deleted the newbb folder and uploaded the new newbb but in admin/module view it says module not found.
I deleted it and uploaded cbb 1.16 but again in the admin module screen it says module not found.
I might not be very clever but I can lift heavy weights!
