I too Agree!!!!!
Can someone please help with this again, it is possible!!
You can tell XOOPS as we are using variable and these can be redirected (as I am seeing and learning).
So why can't we make extra XOOPS files, the original members files>>>
Redirects its members file to a second members file>>>
This contains a new server location and says get Members from this server>>>
It would only take altering the config in the redirection file>>>
For each of us…
If introduced to core, admin controls in preferences..
Please tell me if there is anything disallowing this?

kinda what I was trying to do, ie keep two domains with different content yet still have common interests for people, the only request I have is the customers logging in as registered users be allowed to access the 2 (or more) sites with just a single username and password (not necessarily auto login to new site, just so they dont have to sign up for each site and confirm the account having several usernames and passwords for several sites).
I was reading in one forum list as someone referring to it as a similar concept to the MS Passport idea, for example in Australia we have
http://www.ninemsn.com.au (aka msn.com.au) and if you sign in with that you are using the same username and password as your HOTMAIL account, (they take it one step further though which I am not interesting in atm) so you can log into ebay.com.au with same credentials (I think they may have stopped the affiliation, not sure but that is symantecs) People already have TOO many usernames and paswords they dont want to have more than they need.
An clear example would be if someone setup a webring of sites, different admins (to keep it simple we will say the same server, and if need be database but the database should not matter from what I read) a user goes from one site to the next, not having to re-register upteenth number of times, just login.

Please I beg for this to be added to the core for security and not be a hack...
I second the above!

Do any other CMS's do this or would we be first?
