Hi,

I'm actually make a website under XOOPS and I've got a prob with Catads module and more more particulary with the form of this module.

I want to modify this form to add checkbox like this :

I've declared all the vars and create this in MySQL tab like this :

The prob is that only the first checkbox (GPS) work. All others checkbox don't (no entry in database).

I think that my code in form is wrong but I don't find how to do.

Well, I tried during week-end to fin a solution.

Actually, this is the only way that I find to specified wich option is use :

With this, all Checkbox are already checked in form and to not display one of this option in result I must uncheck that I don't want to display.

I've tried to change the number "1" by "0" in each $xxx->addOption("1","xxx"); . With this change all Chackbox are effectively uncheck but when I check one or more nothing is display in result.

The other prob (and whatever if in form the checkbox are check/uncheck by default) I can't change the status when I use the edition.

I've readed all posts (with search engine) about checkbox but I didn't find what's wrong with my php code.

I'm not sure if this is your problem, but:

The third parameter of the XoopsFormCheckBox constructor is the initial value of the checkbox.

The first parameter of XoopsFormCheckBox::addOption is the value of the checkbox that gets passed back to the script from the submitted form. This value is only passed if the checkbox is enabled and checked when the form is submitted.

The checkbox will be initially checked if the above two values are the same.

I don't think I've used checkboxes with multiple options. But here's how I do it with a single checkbox:

// Example of checkbox that's initially checked.
$checked_value = 1;
$checkbox_foo = new XoopsFormCheckBox('', 'foo', $checked_value);
$checkbox_foo->addOption($checked_value, 'Foo');

// Example of checkbox that's initially unchecked.
$checked_value = 1;
$checkbox_bar = new XoopsFormCheckBox('', 'bar', !$checked_value);
$checkbox_bar->addOption($checked_value, 'Bar');

I have a problem, where I'm trying to use commas in the currency field.

I've changed the database field as suggested in the comments of the module by the developer.

However, when I try to submit a new classified ad, I get the error message as before.

I manually went into the database and created a record that did have a comma in the currency field and it displays just fine through the web browser when viewing the catads module.

So I'm guessing that it is error checking or form validation when the form is submitted.

any ideas?
